Motorola DM4401 - vehicle-mounted digital two-way radio MOTOTRBO
The DM4401 is placed in a duty vehicle, a post or a control room. In the numeric - clear sound at the border of the zone, individual and group calls, text messages; analog channels are left to communicate with the old park (for example, GP340).
Monochrome digital display: channel number and indicators. You need a color screen and a lot of channels – these are the older DM4600/DM4601. According to the datasheet of the DM4401 32 channels; in the later versions, the manufacturer indicates 99 - check for a specific instance.
Powerful configuration on the transmission consumes high current: connect with a cable of 20 A (HKN4191) directly to the battery of the car. For equipment with a 24V flight network, a lowering converter is needed.

What to consider
- Analog and numeral switch over channels rather than running simultaneously on the same channel.
- With GP340, communication is only on an analog channel; with TETRA (MTP6550, MTM5200) - no.
- The antenna is not included in the kit - it is selected for a car or a mast.
