Antenna MR-14U – car on a magnet, without drilling
On VHF it is a quarter-wave pin (2.15 dB), on UHF it is 3/4 wave (3.5 dB); it is only 55 cm long. The antenna is not designed for the 300-340 and 400-420 MHz sections.
Connector cable PL-259. U Motorola GM340/GM360/GM160 nest Mini-UHF - we need an adapter, DM2600/DM4401 — BNC.
For range, the antenna is placed in the center of the steel roof: the metal under it works as a counterweight.

Compatibility

- 27 MHz (Vector VT-27) is not suitable for CBC
What to consider
- For a UHF station, check the frequency: the 403-420 MHz antenna does not cover well.
- For a stationary post on the VHF - the basic BC-100.
