Motorola GM340 VHF - vehicle-mounted station for the workshop and construction
The GM340 is placed in a car, post or control room (with a stationary power supply unit of 13.8 V). Six channels and channel number indicator – control without menu.
The hull is checked. MIL-STD 810 C/D/Eprotection IP54. The alarm -- CTCSS, DCS and Select 5Additional functions (scrambler, voice recording) are added by option boards.
The model is discontinued, but widespread: microphones, cables and connectors in the GM340, GM360 and GM160 are largely common.

What to consider
- VHF and UHF are different configurations that are not reprogrammed: they are taken under frequencies from resolution.
- Power supply 13.2 V (10.8–15.6 V). In a car with a 24V network - only through a 24 → 13.8V converter.
- The antenna is not included in the kit: magnetic for the machine, the base - for the post.
- More channels are needed – GM360 (255 channels, display) or GM160 (128 channels).
