Vostok XT-810 - Internet-two-way radio for transport and logistics
PoC-two-way radio (Push-to-Talk over Cellular) transmits voice over the Internet, so the range is limited only by the coverage of the operator. Convenient for intercity transportation and distributed crews.
In addition to the two-way radio, you need a SIM card with a data tariff for each station and an account on the Vostok POC platform. The SIM card is not included.
Without coverage, there is no communication at all: there is no direct connection between two-way radio-two-way radio and PoC. With conventional VHF-two-way radio (GP340, GM340), the XT-810 does not merge without a separate gateway.
- Type: handheld PoC-two-way radio
- Communication: 4G (LTE/WCDMA), Wi-Fi
- Screen: colour, keyboard
- Navigation: GPS/GLONASS
- Battery: Li-Ion 4000mAh
- Need: SIM card and Vostok POC platform
Compatibility
- Vostok XT-805 Compact model of the same platform
What to consider
- Check the coverage of the operator at all points of work – in the “dead” zones, the PoC is silent.
- Speech latency in PoC is greater than in a radio channel: for real-time teams, this is taken into account.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a license for frequencies?
You don’t need your own frequencies, you need to communicate through the operator. You need SIM cards with Internet and subscription to the platform.
How is it different from the XT-805?
The XT-810 is larger, with a full keyboard; the XT-805 is smaller, the screen is smaller. Both have 4,000 mAh batteries.
