Vector VT-27 Smart TURBO: Technical Guide to CBC Two-way Radio 27 MHz
Vector VT-27 Smart TURBO - Car CB station range 27 MHz with AM and FM modulation and power up to 20 W in FM. In stock - complete with a CB antenna on the base. CB is the connection between drivers on the track and in the convoy.

How to manage.
Channels switch buttons to hand microphone, there is a quick transition to channels 9, 15 and 19 and the ASQ noise suppressor. There is no need for a control network - in CB, drivers communicate with each other.
How Turbo is different from Smart
From the usual VT-27 Smart version of the TURBO differs more power in FM - up to 20 W vs 8. The rest is the same: range 27 MHz (26,965-27,855 and extended), AM/FM modulation, power supply 13.8 V.
Registry
CB stations up to 10 W do not need to be registered. TURBO in FM gives up to 20 W: at high power you need registration, or work at a reduced power switch.
Range and antenna
Range in CB is determined primarily by the antenna: the length, adjustment by CSV and the metal "ground" below it is more important than watts. An antenna from VHF/UHF-two-way radio (such as MR-14U) is not suitable for CB - you need an antenna at 27 MHz. The VT-27 TURBO already has a 1/4L antenna with a base.
Power supply
Power supply 13.8 V. In a truck with an onboard network of 24 V, the station operates only through a converter. VEGA 24 → 13.8 V.
